Day 1 Results
Kingston, R.I. – The Fordham golf team is in third place after 36 holes at the Rhode Island Invitational, hosted by Rhode Island at Quidnessett Country Club in Kingston, R.I.
The Rams were led by junior
Joseph Trim who fired rounds of 70-75 for a two-day total of 145, placing him in a tie for sixth place.
Also in action for the Rams were
Tomas Nieves, who currently sits in a tie for 15
th place after rounds of 74,
James Mongey who followed a 78 in round one with an even par 72 in round two, tying him for 20
th place,
Matt Schiller who shot a pair of 76's, good for a tie for 33
rd place and
Oscar Cabanas who shot rounds of 76-82 to finish in a tie for 58
th place.
Thomas Hayes, playing as an individual, shot rounds of 77-75 to put him in a tie for 33
rd place.
Play concludes with 18 holes tomorrow, beginning at 8 a.m.
