Final Results
Piscataway, N.J. – The Fordham track and field team wrapped up competition at the 2017 Metropolitan Championships on Saturday at Rutgers' Bauer Track & Field Complex where the Fordham men placed third out of 12 teams and the women finished fourth of 12 teams.
Rutgers won the men's title with 209 points, followed by Manhattan (199), Fordham (99), Stony Brook (78) and Wagner (72) to round out the top five. Rutgers also won the women's team title with 190 points followed by St. John's (162), Manhattan (120), Fordham (101.50) and Stony Brook (88), to round out the top five.
Louis SantelliÂ
The Fordham men had two event winners along with a winning relay on day two, while the women had one relay winner.
Thomas Slattery won the 5,000 meter run in a time of 14:58.68, just beating teammate
Ryan Kutch who finished second in 14:59.06.
Louis Santelli was the other individual event winner for the Rams, winning the 800 meter run in a time of 1:53.24.
The winning Fordham relays were the men's 4x800 relay (9:47.73) and the women's 4x400 relay (3:51.65).

Ryan Riviere finished second in the pole vault, clearing 13'11 ¼", Nick Regan and
Vaughan Taylor finished third and eighth in the javelin in distances of 188'2" and 149'10", respectively, Taylor and
Andrew Byrne placed 11
th and 14
th in the long jump in 20'9" and 20' 4 ½", respectively, and Byrne finished fourth in the high jump, clearing 6' 3 ½".Riviere finished second in the decathlon with 5,149 points, with teammate
Jeremy Milite finished right behind him in third place with 4.321 points.

th in the long jump in 17'3 ¾",
Neve Devine placed seventh in the high jump, clearing 4'9" and
Adrianna Batista finished tenth in the hammer throw with a distance of 95'6".
Kylie Farrell finished third in the pentathlon with 3,873 points and
Alina Kwiatkowski placed 13th with 2,050 points.
