New Haven, CT – The Fordham golf team finished in a tie for seventh place at the Yale Invitational at The Course at Yale on Saturday. It was a one-day, 36-hole event.
Matt Schiller was the top finisher for the Rams, carding rounds of 76-72 for a two-round total of 148, good for a tie for 16
th place. Schiller was followed by
Thomas Hayes (77-72-149, T19),
James Mongey (77-73-150, T24),
Joseph Trim (77-74-151, T30),
Tomas Nieves (78-74-152, T36) and
Oscar Cabanas (81-73-154, T46).
The Rams have will have a quick turnaround as they will tee it up at the Rhode Island Invitational in Kingston, R.I. on Monday April 17.
