Pregame Reception
Bronx, N.Y. – The 2017 Atlantic 10 Championship bracket has been released and it features the tenth-seeded Fordham University Rams taking on the seventh-seeded George Mason University Patriots in the third second round game on Thursday, March 9, at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. Tip-off is at 6:00 PM and the game will be broadcast live on the NBC Sports Network.
There will be a pregame reception for all Fordham fans on Thursday night beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Conference Center at PPG Paints Arena. Click on the link above to register.
The Rams and the Patriots met once this year, a 73-67 George Mason win in Fairfax on February 11. The Rams fell despite a game-high 21 points from sophomore guard

Christian Sengfelder (11) also finished in double figures for Fordham with Anderson adding six assists and three steals.
This is the third time the Rams and Patriots will meet at the Atlantic 10 Championship. The Rams won the first two match-ups, at the 2014 and 2015 championship, both games coming in the first round. Overall, Fordham leads the all-time series with the Patriots, 6-1.
The winner of the Fordham-George Mason game will face second-seeded VCU in the third quarterfinal game on Friday night, March 10, at 6 PM.
