Malvern, Pa. - The Fordham University golf team completed its first tournament of the spring season today, taking seventh at the Wildcat Invitational at White Manor Country Club.

Matt Schiller was the top finisher for the Rams, carding a one-over par 72 on day two to go with his one-under 70 in the first round for an even par 142, placing him in a tie for sixth.
After a 70 in round one,
Oscar Cabanas turned in a 74 today for a 144 total, good for a tie for 17
th place, while
James Mongey fired another round of 73 for a 148 total, tying him for 25
th.
Joseph Trim cut two strokes off his first round total, firing a 74 on day two to finish in a tie for 48
th with a two-day total of 150 and
Tomas Nieves also improved on day two, shooting a three-over par 75 for a two day total of 153 and finishing tied for 73
rd.
Thomas Hayes competed as an individual, shooing 78-72 for a two day total of 150 and a tie for 48
th place.
Lehigh won the team title with a 36-hole score of 570, followed by Cleveland State (572), Delaware (573), St. John's (576), Villanova (576), Navy (580), Fordham (582), Drexel (584), Drexel (592), Siena (592), Binghamton (594), Wagner (596), Saint Joseph's PA (597), Bucknell (597), St. Peter's (603), Le Moyne (604), Manhattan (613), Rider (614), Monmouth (616).
The Rams return to action on Sunday, April 2 at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Invitational hosted by Lafayette at Silver Creek Country Club in Hellertown, Pa.
