New York, N.Y. – The Fordham track and field relay teams turned in impressive performances at the Millrose Games at the New Balance Track and Field Center on Saturday.
The day began with the women's 4x400 meter relay as
Nkeka Pinheiro,
Merissa Wright,
Mary Kate Kenny and
Aidan Moroz took fifth with a season-best time of 3:54.31.
Next up was the Fordham distance medley relay team of
Brian Cook,
Jared Benn,
Louis Santelli and
Thomas Slattery finished in second place in a season-best time of 9:47.61. They were edged out by Penn by just 0.33 seconds. Fordham's time currently ranks in the top-25 in the country this season.
The Rams capped the day with
Jared Benn,
Michael Petersen,
Louis Santelli and
Richard Webber leading the Fordham men's 4x400 meter relay team to victory in a season-best time of 3:18.09.
Fordham returns to action February 18-19 at the Atlantic 10 Championships in Fairfax, Va.
