New Orleans, La. - The U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2016 Division I All-Academic Cross Country teams with a total of 431 men's and women's teams earning the distinction as a result of earning a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher.
Fordham was one of 179 schools nationally to have both its men's and women's team honored.
The Fordham women's team was one of 242 women's squads honored with a 3.35 GPA while the Fordham men were one of 189 men's teams honored with a 3.28 GPA.
The Atlantic 10 Conference was once again a leader among the conferences for the 2016 season with a total of 22 teams, men's and women's, represented.
