Huntington, N.Y. – The Fordham track & field teams continued their indoor season at the Bill Ward Invitational, hosted by St. John's, on Thursday.

Fordham had five wins on the night. Event winners included
Christopher Strzelinski in the mile run (4:37.25),
Arthur Gooden Jr. in the 500-meter dash (1:08.22),
Patrick Dineen in the 800-meter run (2:04.74),
Ryan Riviere in the pole vault (4.25m) and
Nikolas Reardon won the long jump for the second straight week with a leap of 6.44m.

Other top performers were
Sean Sullivan and
Patrick Norako who finished second and third in the mile in times of 4:37.59 and 4:39.78, respectively,
Dylan Serino took fourth in the 500-meter dash (1:09.78) while
Jordan Milite finished sixth (1:11.44),
Eric Cao finished second in the 60-meter hurdles (9.11 seconds),
Patrick Donahue took fourth in the 800-meter run (2:08.56),
Kyle Mack finished sixth in the 200-meter dash (23:59) while
Jordon Dabney took ninth (23.82), Reardon took second in the triple jump (13.15m) and Connor Gillan and
Patrick Sawyer took fourth and fifth in the pole vault, clearing 3.95m and 3.80m, respectively.

Top performers on the women's side included a strong showing in the 200-meter dash where
Kathryn Kelly finished fifth (26.14),
Mary Kate Kenny took sixth (26.22),
Laura Jaeger placed seventh (26.40) and
Sarinnagh Budris finished ninth (27.20),
Emily Silfies and
Neve Devine finished third and fourth in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.94 and 9.95 seconds, respectively, Kelly took second in the 60-meter dash (7.84),
Maeve O'Connor took fifth in the mile run (5:34.99),
Morgan Menzzasalma took sixth in the 500-meter dash (1:22.93) and the Rams had three in the top ten in the long jump as
Mary Kate Caucci finished third (4.99m), Burdris took sixth (4.92m) and Devine placed eighth (4.89m).

The Rams will have an extended break before returning to action January 5 at the Seahawk Invitational, hosted by Wagner.
