Fordham Football Announces 2018 Recruiting Class

Eleven Student-Athletes Set to Join Rams in 2018
 
Bronx, N.Y. (December 21, 2017) - Fordham University Interim Head Football Coach Shane Fogarty announced the signing of eleven football student-athletes to letters of intent with Fordham for the 2018 season.
 
The new class features seven offensive players and four defensive players. By position, offensive line leads the way with four, followed by two defensive linemen, two defensive backs, one running back, one tight end and one quarterback.

The eleven newcomers hail from six different states. New Jersey and Illinois are represented by three signees each along with two from Florida and one each from New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
 
"We are very excited to welcome the eleven new student-athletes to our program," said Fogarty. "The eleven represent a group with unlimited potential, some of whom turned down FBS offers to join us. We look forward to them arriving this summer and helping us achieve our goal of a Patriot League championship."

The Rams are scheduled to open their 118th season of varsity football on Saturday, September 1, as they travel to Charlotte, N.C., to face the Charlotte 49ers. Fordham is entering its 28th season as a member of the NCAA FCS Patriot League.
