2017 HERO Sports Freshman All-America Team

Glenn Cunningham (Glastonbury, Conn./Xavier) was named 2017 HERO Sports First Team Freshman All-American it was announced today. He is the lone Patriot League student-athlete to be named to the first team.
Cunningham led the 2017 Rams with 82 total tackles, 54 solo, including 9.5 for loss and 5.5 sacks, leading the team in each of those categories. He also amassed nine quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one pass interception. Cunningham ranked third in the Patriot League in sacks (0.55/game) while also ranking fifth in both total tackles (8.2/game) and solo tackles (5.4/game).
