College Soccer News All-American Teams

Bronx, N.Y. – (December 11, 2017) – Just prior to the Men's Soccer National Championship game, College Soccer News Announced its 2017 All-America Teams.  Among those honored were Fordham junior forward Janos Loebe (Kierspe, Germany), named Third Team All-American.

Loebe was one of two Atlantic 10 players on CSN's All-America Team, joining VCU's Rafael Andrade Santos, who earned Second Team All-America honors.

The All-America accolade is the third postseason accolade for Loebe, having previously been named First Team All-Atlantic 10 as well as First Team All-Midwest Region by United Soccer Coaches.

Loebe led the Rams with nine assists and 23 points to go with seven goals, and remained among the national leaders in assists and game-winning goals (4) throughout the season.  He was also named Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week twice this season.

He was one of the main cogs in Fordham's first-ever run to the NCAA Championship quarterfinal, which saw the Rams earn their first two NCAA tournament wins, and getting past nationally seeded teams, Virginia and Duke.
