Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University men's basketball Rams continue their 2017-2018 season, the 115th season of varsity basketball at Rose Hill, by hosting the East Tennessee State University Buccaneers in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday, November 29, at 7:00 p.m.

Fordham enters the game with a 2-3 record after a 70-57 win over Manhattan College in the Rose Hill Gym last Sunday afternoon in the annual Battle of the Bronx while East Tennessee State is 3-3 this year after an 83-73 win over Fort Wayne in Johnson City on Saturday.
Wednesday night's contest will be the second meeting between Fordham and East Tennessee State on the hardwood. The Buccaneers took the first meeting, 96-59, in last year's season-opener in Johnson City. The Rams are 2-2 all-time against teams currently in the Southern Conference (2-0 vs. Furman, 0-1 vs. UNC Greensboro and 0-1 vs. ETSU).

• Senior guard
Will Tavares, who leads the Rams in scoring (16.8 ppg), has scored a career-high 19 points in each of the past two games.
• The 2017-2018 Rams lead the Atlantic 10 in scoring defense (62.0) and three-point field goal percentage defense (.283) while ranking fourth in defensive field goal percentage (.419).
• Over the past three years, Fordham is 21-5 in non-conference home games (5-2 in 2014-2015, 9-0 in 2015-2016 year and 5-2 last year).
• Overall, the Rams are 24-15 at home over the past two years.
• For the second straight year, Fordham University junior guard
Joseph Chartouny was named to the Preseason All-Atlantic 10 Team. He was also named to the preseason All-Defensive Team.
• The Rams, who lead the Atlantic 10 and are third in the NCAA with 62 steals, set a school record with 17 steals in the win over Manhattan.
