Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham men's and women's cross country squads closed out the 2017 season by competing at the ECAC/IC4A Championships today at Van Cortlandt Park where the men placed seventh and the women finished ninth.
James Madison won the women's ECAC Championship university race with a total score of 60 points and Temple took first in the IC4A Championship with 43 points.
Thomas Slattery and
Ryan Kutch paced the Fordham men taking seventh and ninth, respectively, with Slattery covering the 8K course in 25:25.9 and Kutch finishing in a time of 25:33.7. Both were also named to the All-East team.
Also scoring for the Fordham men were

Also competing were

Angelina Grebe led the way for the Fordham women, finishing 13
th in the 5K in 18:19.2. Also scoring were

Abigail Taylor (62
nd – 19:11.2) and
Laurel Fisher (71
st – 19:17.6). Grebe and Snow earned All-East honors.
Also competing were

th – 19:38.8) and
Blake Elwood (120
th – 19:57.5).
The women's average time of 18:50.30 was one of the fastest team times in program history.
In the women's coaches race,
Maeve O'Connor crossed the line first for the Rams finishing 12
th in 20:19.7. Also competing in the women's race were
