Fordham Game Notes

Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University football Rams close out their 2017 Patriot League season, the 117th varsity season at Rose Hill, by hosting the Bucknell University Bison for Senior Day on Jack Coffey Field on Saturday, November 18, at 12:00 p.m.

The game will be streamed live by Stadium (Patriot League Network) with Matt Martucci (p-b-p) and Andy Gresh (color) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on WFUVsports.org with James Corrigan (p-b-p), Tommy Aldrich (color) and David Spampinato (sidelines) handling the announcing chores.

Fordham enters the game with a 3-7 overall record, 2-3 in the Patriot League, after a 42-20 league loss to Holy Cross on Jack Coffey Field on November 4, while Bucknell enters the game with a 5-5 overall mark, 2-3 in the Patriot League, following a 12-10 league win over Georgetown in Lewisburg last week.

This will be the 33rd meeting between Fordham and Bucknell the gridiron with the Bison leading the all-time series, which started in 1929, 18-14. Fordham has taken the past four meetings, including a 36-22 win in Mathewson Stadium last November 19 as
Chase Edmonds rushed for 181 yards and three scores and
Kevin Anderson completed 17 of 32 passes for 327 yards and a score.

Prior to the game, 21 Fordham seniors will be honored along with student managers and student trainers.

Senior running back
Chase Edmonds broke the Patriot League career rushing mark in the Holy Cross game and enters his final collegiate contest with 5,677 career rushing yards.

Edmonds also set the Patriot League career all-purpose yard record in et Holy Cross and currently has 7,184 career all-purpose yards. He broke the former all-purpose yardage mark of 7,121 set by Fordham's Javarus Dudley from 2000-2003.

Edmonds also owns the Fordham and Patriot League career touchdown (72) and career rushing touchdown (65) records.

Kevin Anderson
Graduate student quarterback
Kevin Anderson connected with
Austin Longi on a 12-yard scoring strike at Lafayette on October 7, his 70th career touchdown pass, a new school record. He surpassed the former record of 69 set by John Skelton (2006-2009). Anderson, who now has 73 career scoring strokes, has 1,756 passing yards so far this year brings his career mark to 7,663, third best in school history.

Dylan Mabin is second in the NCAA FCS in passes defended (1.9/game)
Junior wide receiver
Austin Longi has 15 career receiving touchdowns, ninth all-time at Fordham.

The scout team players of the week were announced following practice on Thursday:
Colton Smith (offense for defense),
Ricardo Llanio (defense for the offense) and
Matt Dengler (special teams).

No New York area football team has won more games since 2012 than Fordham, who has amassed 49 victories over that stretch. The closest collegiate competitors are Stony Brook (38), Sacred Heart (36), and Rutgers (33), while the NFL's Giants and Jets have 40 and 37 wins, respectively, each.
