Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University men's basketball Rams continue their 2017-2018 season, the 115th season of varsity basketball at Rose Hill, by hosting the Long Island University Blackbirds in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Monday, November 13, at 7:00 p.m.
The game, which is part of the 2017 Jamaica Classic, will be streamed on the Atlantic 10 Digital Network with Andrew Bogusch (p-b-p) and Kenny Ducey (color) announcing and broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and

Fordham enters the game coming off a 55-54 season-opening loss to Miami (OH) in the Rose Hill Gym on Friday night while LIU also opened the season with a loss, falling 102-96 at Tulane on Friday night.
Monday night's contest will be the 15th meeting between Fordham and LIU on the hardwood. The Rams lead the all-time series, 10-4, and took the last matchup, 89-84 in overtime, on December 8, 2015 in the Rose Hill Gym as Mandell Thomas paced the Rams with 28 points.

• In honor of Commuter Night, free pregame food and games will be available in student lounge for commuters.
• Anyone in student lounge prior to game will be entered into raffle to win exclusive team gear at the game.
• Free MetroCards will be handed out to student at the conclusion of the game.
• Student dance club, Fordham Flava, will perform during halftime.
Notes
• Over the past three years, Fordham is 19-5 in non-conference home games (5-2 in 2013-14, 9-0 last year and 5-2 this year).
• Overall, the Rams are 22-15 at home over the past two years.

Joseph Chartouny was named to the Preseason All-Atlantic 10 Team. He was also named to the preseason All-Defensive Team.
• After recording 263 steals in 2015-2016, the fourth most in a single season for a Ram squad, the 2016-2017 team surpassed that with 315 steals, the second most in a season in school history (the school record for steals in a year is 350, set by the 1981-1982 team).
• The Rams opened the 2017-2018 season with 13 steals against Miami (OH).
