Round One Results
Lewisburg, Pa. – The Fordham University golf team began play at the Bucknell Invitational at the Bucknell Golf Course on Saturday where the Rams are tied for third after round one.
James Mongey led the way for the Rams firing a one-under par 69, placing him in a tie for second place.
Joseph Trim finds himself in the top 15 after carding a two-over par 72, tying him for 12
th place. Also competing for the Rams,
Tomas Nieves and
Josh Madarang carded matching rounds of 75 and sit in a tie for 38
th place and
Matt Schiller opened with a 78, good for a tie for 56
th.
Mithran Denbow, competing as an individual, also shot a 78 to tie for 56
th place.
Wayne State leads the team standings with a total score of 285, followed by St. Francis-PA (290), Bucknell (291), Fordham (291), Iona (292), Fairleigh Dickinson (294), Monmouth (294), Ottawa (295), Canisius (297), Humber College (301), Manhattan (302), Navy-B Team (305), Holy Cross (306), Niagara (309), La Salle (310), St. Francis-NY (313) and Hampton (319).
Play concludes with 18 holes on Sunday.
