Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University football Rams continue their 2017 Patriot League season, the 117th varsity season at Rose Hill, by hosting the Lehigh University Mountain Hawks on Jack Coffey Field on Saturday, October 28, at 1:00 p.m.

The game will be streamed live by Stadium (Patriot League Network) with Matt Martucci (p-b-p), Dave Owens (color) and Morgan Uber (sidelines) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on WFUVsports.org with Tom Scibelli (p-b-p), Tommy Aldrich (color) and Raffaele
Elia (sidelines) handling the announcing chores.

Fordham enters the game with a 2-6 overall record, 1-2 in the Patriot League, after a 17-9 league win at Georgetown last Saturday while Lehigh is 2-5 overall, 2-0 in the Patriot League, following a 54-35 league win over Georgetown in Bethlehem on October 14.

This will be the 30th meeting between Fordham and Lehigh on the gridiron with the Mountain Hawks lead the all-time series, which started in 1923, 24-5. The Rams have taken three of the past four meetings but Lehigh won last year, 58-37, in Goodman Stadium as Dom Bragalone rushed 15 times for 192 yards and three touchdowns and Nick Shafnisky gained 108 yards and 13 carries with three scores.

A few notes on the game:

Senior running back Chase Edmonds has amassed a school record 5,614 rushing yards to date. He needs just seven more yards to break Jordan Scott's Patriot League career record of 5,621, set from 2005-2008.

Edmonds also owns the Fordham and Patriot League career touchdown (70) and career rushing touchdown (63) records.

Graduate student quarterback Kevin Anderson connected with Austin Longi on a 12-yard scoring strike at Lafayette on October 7, his 70th career touchdown pass, a new school record. He surpassed the former record of 69 set by John Skelton (2006-2009). Anderson's 1,472 passing yards so far this year brings his career mark to 7,379, third best in school history.

Freshman kicker Andrew Mevis was named the Corvias Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week following the Georgetown game. In the 17-9 Patriot League win, Mevis accounted for nine of the 17 Fordham points with three field goals (30, 31 and 31 yards).

Junior wide receiver Austin Longi has 15 career receiving touchdowns, ninth all-time at Fordham.

The scout team players of the week were announced following practice on Thursday: Cameron Ciero (offense for defense), Dervin Hylton, Jr. (defense for the offense) and Marcus Alleyne (special teams).

The Fordham captains for 2017 will be Manny Adeyeye, Kevin Anderson, Chase Edmonds, and Caleb Ham.

No New York area football team has won more games since 2012 than Fordham, who has amassed 48 victories over that stretch. The closest collegiate competitors are Sacred Heart (36), Stony Brook (35) and Rutgers (32), while the NFL's Giants and Jets have 39 and 36 wins, respectively, each.
