Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University football Rams continue their 2017 Patriot League season, the 117th varsity season at Rose Hill, by traveling to Washington, D.C., to face the Georgetown University Hoyas on Cooper Field on Saturday, October 21, at 2:00 p.m.

The game will be streamed live on the Patriot League Network with Jeremy Huber (p-b-p), Emory Hunt (color) and former Ram Mike Nebrich (color) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on WFUVsports.org with James Corrigan (p-b-p), Tommy Aldrich (color) and Tom Scibelli (sidelines) handling the announcing chores.

Fordham enters the game with a 1-6 overall record, 0-2 in the Patriot League, after a 38-12 league loss at Colgate last Saturday while Georgetown is 1-5, 0-1 in the Patriot League, following a 54-35 league loss at Lehigh last week.

This will be the 64th meeting between Fordham and Georgetown on the gridiron with the Rams leading the all-time series, which started in 1889, 38-22-3. The Rams have taken the past five meetings, including a 17-14 win on Jack Coffey Field last October as Chase Edmonds rushed for 179 yards, Robbie Cantelli hauled in two touchdown passes and Makay Redd connected on a 24-yard field goal with 6:08 left that proved to be the game winner.

A few notes on the game:

Senior running back Chase Edmonds has amassed a school record 5,614 rushing yards to date. He needs just seven more yards to break Jordan Scott's Patriot League career record of 5,621, set from 2005-2008.

Edmonds also owns the Fordham and Patriot League career touchdown (70) and career rushing touchdown (63) records.

Graduate student quarterback Kevin Anderson connected with Austin Longi on a 12-yard scoring strike at Lafayette on October 7, his 70th career touchdown pass, a new school record. He surpassed the former record of 69 set by John Skelton (2006-2009). Anderson's 1,472 passing yards so far this year brings his career mark to 7,379, third best in school history.

Saturday's game at Georgetown will be Fordham's sixth road game of the year (through first eight contests). The last time Fordham played six of its first eight games on the road was in 2011.

The Fordham University football squad has not lost six straight games since the Rams lost the final three games of 2011, a streak of 68 games.

The Fordham captains for 2017 will be Manny Adeyeye, Kevin Anderson, Chase Edmonds, and Caleb Ham.

No New York area football team has won more games since 2012 than Fordham, who has amassed 47 victories over that stretch. The closest collegiate competitors are Sacred Heart (35), Stony Brook (35) and Rutgers (31), while the NFL's Giants and Jets have 39 and 36 wins, respectively, each.
