Kings Park, N.Y. - Members of the Fordham cross country teams competed at the SJC Long Island Invitational, held at Sunken Meadow State Park on Sunday, where the men and women both placed first in the team competition.
Fordham won the men's team title with a total score of 25, followed by Suffolk CC (72), SUNY Maritime (111), Kingsborough (116), Mount St. Mary (148), Baruch (135), Nassau CC (188), Bergen CC (203), Farmingdale St. (249), Sarah Lawrence (334), Queens College (356), Queensborough CC (417), Bridgeport (422), Brooklyn (423), Mt. St. Vincent (430), Old Westbury (451), John Jay (454), Vaughn (460), Medgar Evers (472), St. Joseph's College (532) and CIA-Steels (560).

Christopher Strzelinski led the way for the Rams on the men's side, finishing third in the 8,000 meter run in a time of 27:24.71. Crossing the line next for the Rams was

Individually,
Kieran Hanrahan led the way for the Ram women, finishing fifth in the 5,000 meter run in 20:33.56. She was followed by
