Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham's
Jacob Bohm netted his second goal of the season, while
Rashid Nuhu made six saves in net, as the Rams defeated the Saint Joseph's Hawks, 1-0, in Atlantic 10 men's soccer action on Saturday night at Jack Coffey Field.
With the win, Fordham improved to 9-3-2 on the year, 3-1-1 in the Atlantic 10, while Saint Joseph's fell to 3-7-4 overall, 1-2-1 in the league.

Rashid Nuhu was tested early in the contest by the Hawks, making two saves in the first ten minutes on hard shots from Alvin Dahn and Matt Crawford.
The Rams answered those early chances with two of their own in the 25
th minute, capitalizing on the second to take a 1-0 lead.
Christopher Bazzini came down the right side, crossing a ball to the front of the goal.
Connor DeFilippis got off a header, which was stopped by Saint Joseph's goalkeeper Greg O'Connell. The rebound was headed out by a Hawks defender, but came right to
Jacob Bohm, who fired a shot from 14 yards out inside the right post for his second goal of the season.

Nuhu, who made two more stops in the final eight minutes of the first half, both on shots by Dontrim Namani.
In the second half, Saint Joseph's continued to put the pressure on the Rams in the 50
th minute, as Ritchie Barry fought with Nuhu and Fordham defender
Matthew Lewis on a scramble in front of the net. However, both of Ritchie's attempts were foiled, keeping Fordham on top, 1-0.
Nuhu had to come up big one more time in the final minute of play, as Crawford put together a last shot attempt but the Rams' netminder made his sixth save of the game to complete the shutout win. It was Nuhu's league-leading ninth of the season.
The Fordham men's soccer team will next be in action on Saturday, October 21
st, when the Rams travel to Rhode Island for a 7:00 PM Atlantic 10 match.
