Bronx, N.Y. – Following a split of games last week, the Fordham men's soccer team returns begins the stretch run this week with a pair on Atlantic 10 matches on the slate. The Rams travel to St. Bonaventure on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM, while on Saturday, Fordham hosts Saint Joseph's under the lights at 7:00 PM.
Fordham (7-3-2, 1-1-1 A10) is coming off a 1-0 loss to VCU on Saturday, which snapped the Rams seven-game unbeaten streak. The Rams look to get back on track at St. Bonaventure, where the Bonnies are off to an 0-2 start in conference play, after one-goal losses to Rhode Island (3-2) and Davidson (1-0). On Saturday, the Hawks, who are 1-1 in Atlantic 10 play and host UMass on Wednesday, come to town for a night match, having defeated George Mason (2-0), while falling to Dayton (3-2) in overtime.

SERIES HISTORY: This will be the 19
th all-time meeting between Fordham and St. Bonaventure, as the series dates back to 1995, when both teams joined the Atlantic 10. The Rams hold a 10-6-2 edge in the series, following a 4-0 win over the Bonnies last year at Jack Coffey Field in the regular season finale. Prior to that, the teams had not played each other since 2012. St. Bonaventure's last win in the series came in 2009 in the opening round of the Atlantic 10 Championship.
For Saint Joseph's on Saturday, it will be the 18
th all-time meeting with Fordham again holding the edge in the series at 11-5-2. The two teams have not met since 2014, when Fordham earned a 2-0 win at Jack Coffey Field. Since 2005, the Rams are 5-1-2 against the Hawks.

Janos Loebe and
Rashid Nuhu rank in the top 30 in multiple categories. Loebe is tied for third in the nation in game-winning goals with four. Nuhu is tied for seventh in shutouts with seven, while being 13
th in goals against average (0.563) and 16
th in save percentage (.829).
LAST TIME OUT: In a re-match of last year's Atlantic 10 Championship match, Francesco Amorosino's goal in the 33
rd minute proved to be the lone goal of the game on Saturday night, as the VCU Rams topped the Fordham Rams, 1-0, at Jack Coffey Field.

rd minute, as Fortia Munts found Ryo Shimazaki for a run down the right side. Shimazaki cut a cross to Francesco Amorosino in front of goal, as he one-timed a 15-yard shot to the left side past a diving
Rashid Nuhu for his third goal of the year.
The Rams tried to find the equalizer over the next 57 minutes with the best chance coming in the 75
th minute.
Matt Miller went on a run to the top left corner of the box, driving a shot from 20 yards out, that VCU goalkeeper Mario Sequeira made a diving stop to the left post to keep VCU ahead.
That was Sequeira's only save in the 1-0 victory for VCU. Nuhu finished the match with four saves for Fordham.
