Petersen Named A-10 Rookie of the Week

Newport News, Va. - Fordham freshman Michael Petersen has been named Atlantic 10 Men's Track and Field Rookie of the Week.

This is the second weekly honor for Petersen this season. Petersen placed 16th in the 800 meter run in an IC4A qualifying and season-best time of 1:51.86 at the Terrier Classic at Boston University on Friday.

Petersen and the Rams return to action February 2-3 at the Metropolitan Championship at OBP Track & Field Complex in Staten Island, N.Y.
