Michael Petersen has been named Atlantic 10 Men's Track and Field Co-Rookie of the Week.
This is the first weekly honor for Petersen, who shares this week's award with George Mason's Tyler Benson. Petersen placed 2nd in the 500 meter run at the Wagner Invitational this past Friday with an IC4A qualifying time of 1:04.58, the best time by a Ram in that event this season and third best in the Atlantic 10.
Petersen and the Rams return to action on Friday when they host the Fordham Invitational at the Lombardi Center Field House. Events start at 10 a.m.
