South Kent, Conn. – The Fordham University golf team completed its second tournament of the fall today by taking 15th at the Hartford Hawks Invitational at Bull's Bridge Club.

Matt Schiller was the top finisher for the Rams, carding a two-over par 74 on day two to go with his one-under 71 in the first round for a one-over par 145, just one stroke off the career best 36 hole finish he set last week, placing him in a tie for 26
th.
After a 74 in round one,
Joseph Trim turned in a 75 today for a 149 total, good for a tie for 41st place, while
James Mongey followed up his 77 from Monday with a 74 today for a 151 total, tying him for 55
th.
Thomas Hayes shot 79 and 80 for a two day total of 159, good for a tie for 94
th, while
Oscar Cabanas finished at 162 (80-82), tying him for 103
rd.
Josh Madarang competed as an individual, shooting 79-75 for a two day total of 154, putting him in a tie for 73rd overall.
Cal Poly won the team title with a 36-hole score of 578, followed by South Florida (592), Seton Hall, Sam Houston State (570), Connecticut (571), Towson (575), Rhode Island (578), Fairleigh Dickenson (579), St. John's (586), Bethune-Cookman (592), Bryant (598), Hofstra (598), Fairfield (600), Hartford (603), Fordham (604), Rider (605), Long Island-Brooklyn (607), Sacred Heart (614) and Holy Cross (645).
The Rams return to action on Saturday, September 24, at the Quechee Invitational hosted by Dartmouth College at the Quechee Golf Club in Quechee, Vermont.
