D'Angelo Palladino was named Corvias Patriot League Rookie Player of the Week, it was announced today. It is the first weekly honor of 2016 for Palladino.
In a record setting 83-21 win over Elizabeth City State University, Palladino carried 19 times for 116 yards and one score, gaining 107 of the 116 yards in the fourth quarter. He closed out the day's scoring with a 17-yard run with 5:41 remaining to help the Rams set a school and Patriot League mark with the 83 points. Fordham also set a school record with 393 rushing yards in the game.
The Rams (1-1) return to action on Saturday, September 24, as they host the Penn Quakers on Jack Coffey Field at 1:00 p.m. as part of Homecoming 2016.
