Golf Tied for Third After Day One at Ryan Lee Memorial

Simsbury, Conn. – The Fordham University golf squad opened their fall schedule today with first round play at the Ryan Lee Memorial Tournament hosted by Central Connecticut State University at the Hopmeadow Country Club where the Rams are tied for third in the team standings.
 
Bryant leads the pack with a 288 followed by Central Connecticut at 294 and Fordham and Wagner who are tied at 296.
 
Individually, Fordham's Joseph Trim is tied with Wagner's Connor O'Rourke for the lead with a first round score of 70, two under par.
 
Matt Schiller is tied for sixth with a 73 while Tommy Hayes is tied for 32nd with a first round score of 76. Other Rams competing include James Mongey, who shot a 77 to tie for 42nd, and Oscar Cabanas, who tied for 60^th with an 80.
 
The Ryan Lee Memorial Tournament concludes on Sunday.
