Fordham men's soccer head coach Jim McElderry announced the team's 2016 schedule today, as the Rams look for their third consecutive trip to the Atlantic 10 Championship and second title in three seasons.

The schedule features a weekend trip to the Maryland-Delaware area to open the season, a road trip to Florida, eight home games, and an eight-game conference slate.

The Rams begin their 2016 schedule on the road.  Fordham opens the season on August 26th at UMBC and follows with an August 28th meeting at Delaware.

Fordham then comes home for three straight home games at Jack Coffey Field against Quinnipiac (Sept. 2), Fairfield (Sept. 5), and Lafayette (Sept. 9).

The Rams then hit the road for five consecutive games, which includes the start of Atlantic 10 play.  Fordham has local rivalry games at Manhattan on September 14th and at Columbia on September 23rd.  In between those contests, the team will head to Florida for a single game at Stetson on September 17th.

Atlantic 10 action begins on October 1st, as the Rams play at George Washington, followed by an October 5th date with NCAA Tournament participant Dayton.  Fordham will also travel to La Salle on October 15th and Saint Louis on October 29th.

For home games, Fordham plays five of its final seven games at Jack Coffey Field, which includes four Atlantic 10 contests.  The Rams host Massachusetts (Oct. 9), Duquesne (Oct. 12), Davidson (Oct. 23), and St. Bonaventure (Nov. 5).  The final home game on the schedule is a non-conference match against NCAA participant Lehigh on October 18th.

The Atlantic 10 Championship will be held, November 10-13, at Davidson's Alumni Soccer Stadium in Davidson, N.C.

In addition to the regular season schedule, Fordham will also have exhibition contests against Fairleigh Dickinson (Aug.17) and Seton Hall (Aug. 21).
