Water Polo Hosts Alumni Day

Past and Present Rams Turn Out for the Annual Spring Tradition

Bronx, N.Y. – Sunday was an annual spring tradition for the Fordham Water Polo program – Alumni Day – at the Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center and the turnout was great, including nine graduating seniors from this year's team now playing on the alumni side of the pool.

Included in the day's events were lunch and a four-quarter match involving all alumni and current student-athletes.

"It was a great day with a great turnout," Head coach Bill Harris remarked, "It's an annual rite of spring here and it was really fun to get everyone in the water."

In addition to the nine outgoing seniors, there were alumni from several graduating years dating back to 1968.

"What's always a pleasure are the friendships that are renewed at these events. These guys just pick right back up where they left off with each other. It just tells you all about the tradition we have here at Fordham water polo." Harris added.
