Rowing to Compete in San Diego Crew Classic

Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University women's crew traveled cross country on Thursday as they prepare to compete in the 2016 San Diego Crew Classic, the largest regatta in the world held for primarily eight-oared rowing shells, on Saturday and Sunday.
 
This will be Fordham's first trip to San Diego since 2012 when the varsity 8 placed seventh in the Women's Collegiate Varsity B SeaWorld Cal Cup at the regatta.
 
The Rams will enter two boats in the regatta, a varsity 8 and a second varsity 8. Heats will be held on Saturday with the finals on Sunday. For more information go to http://www.crewclassic.org/.
