Box ScoreWorcester, Mass. – The Fordham men's tennis team took down the Holy Cross Crusaders, 4-3, on Wednesday afternoon at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility.

Joseph Kavaloski all won both their singles and doubles matches. The Rams are now 7-5 on the season and have won three of their last four. The Crusaders fall to 2-7 overall.
Fordham doubles rallied down from 1-0 to snatch the all-important doubles point and the Rams never trailed, eventually clinching the match at 4-1.
Holy Cross took #3 doubles but Li and
Cameron Posillico downed Michael Varda and Henry Harris, 6-1, before Cosmai and Kavaloski defeated Peter Campito and Elmar Lutz, 6-3, to start the day off, 1-0.
Kavaloski was the first to finish, at the third position with a 6-2, 6-1, win over Charlie Volkwein. Campito got the Crusaders on the board with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Christopher Caroli, but Li and Cosmai won their bouts and gave Fordham its second consecutive victory. Li took down Harris, 6-0, 6-2, while Cosmai shut Varda out in set one, 6-0, but had to battle to a second set tiebreak, 7-6 (7-1), to seal the victory.
The Rams return home for the first of four consecutive home matches over the next week against Yeshiva University on Friday afternoon at 12 p.m. from the Hawthorn/Rooney courts. Fordham will host Hunter College and Adelphi on Saturday and Rider next Wednesday afternoon.
