NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Fordham women's basketball freshman
Lauren Holden was named the Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday by the league.
Holden averaged 12.5 points and 3.0 assists per game on 9-of-22 shooting for the Rams in a 1-1 week. In a win over St. Bonaventure Wednesday, the Cape May, N.J. native recorded 10 points and four assists on 3-of-6 shooting, including 2-of-4 from beyond the arc. In Sunday's matchup with Dayton, she scored a season-high 15 points on 6-of-16 shooting from the field and 2-of-7 from three-point range.
Fordham returns to action this Thursday, March 3 when it plays either #11 Massachusetts or #14 La Salle in the Atlantic 10 Tournament in Richmond, Va.
