ResultsBOSTON – The Fordham men's track & field team competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday and enjoyed three IC4A qualifying times among nine career-best times. Following the impressive display by the Fordham women's squad yesterday, the men answered in full.

Jordan Allen's IC4A-qualifying time in his 200 meter debut alongside
Jared Benn and
Sean Phillips' career-bests in their respective races, the Rams experienced numerous personal marks on Saturday.

Ryan Riviere, the lone Ram to participate in a field event, tied for 18
th overall with a 14' 3.25" pole vault.

Two Rams,
Louis Santelli and
Patrick Dineen, participated in the 800 meter run and both set new career-best times with 1:55.11 and 1:58.76 finishes, respectively. Freshman
Eddie Dehais ran in the 400 meter dash and crossed in a personal-best 50.67 seconds, good for 105
th overall.

In the 1,000 meter,
Fritz Heinrich set a new personal record with a 2:30.46 finish, good for 25
th, and was followed by
Michael Campbell, who crossed in 2:35.11, good for 59
th overall.

Jared Benn kicked off the Rams' IC4A qualifying with a 1:03.44 time in the 500 meter race, which earned the freshman a third place overall finish.
Jordan Allen made the most of his debut in the 200 meter dash with an IC4A-qualifying time of 22.22.

Sean Phillips rounded out the Fordham men's IC4A qualifying times on Saturday with a 4:13.37 time in the mile, good for 53
rd overall. Sophomore
Thomas Slattery missed the regional time by one second, finishing 62
nd with a 4:14.51 time.
Brian Cook finished 75
th overall in 4:15.67,
Nik O'Brien one spot behind in 76
th in 4:15.70, while
Mike Turi and
Quincy O'Connor crossed 99
th and 128
th in 4:18.44 and 4:20.57, respectively.

Fordham had two quartets compete in the 4x400 meter relay. The Rams' 'A' squad nearly qualified for an IC4A time by one second – Dehais, Benn, Santelli, and Allen finished 21
st overall in 3:20.51. The team of Phillips, Dineen, Cook, and Heinrich finished 49
th overall in 3:31.08.

The Rams now prepare for the Atlantic-10 Championship. The two-day event will be hosted by Rhode Island and will begin next Saturday, February 20
th, at 9 a.m.
