Anthony Coyle and senior defensive lineman
Justin Vaughn were all placed on the first team while junior defensive back
Caleb Ham was named honorable mention.

Edmonds, a first team All-Patriot League selection this fall, rushed 257 times for 1,799 yards and 19 touchdowns. He leads the NCAA FCS in rushing yards and rushing yards per game (163.5) as well as ranking second in rushing touchdowns and all-purpose yards per game (194.6). The 1,799 yards is just 39 yards shy of Edmonds' school single season record set in 2014.

Over his three-year career, Edmonds has rushed for a school record 5,285 yards, just 336 yards shy of Jordan Scott's Patriot League career record of 5,621 yards. He has 62 career rushing touchdowns and 69 overall career touchdowns, both school and Patriot League records.

Coyle, who earned first team All-League honors in 2016, started all eleven games at left tackle for the Rams in 2016. He helped Fordham lead the Patriot League and rank fourth in the NCAA FCS in total offense, averaging 498.2 yards/game, and lead the league and rank 12th in the NCAA FCS in rushing offense, averaging 229.7 yards/game. The Rams are also second in the Patriot League and fifth in the nation in scoring, averaging 40.1 points per game, and second in the League and 17th in the nation in first downs (257).

Vaughn, who started all eleven games at defensive tackle and earned second team All-Patriot League honors this year, finished the season with 40 total tackles, 29 solo, and he led the team with 11.0 tackles for loss (34 yards) and was second on the squad with 4.0 sacks (14 yards). He was fourth in the Patriot League in tackles for loss and fourth in sacks. Vaughn also had six quarterback hurries, one pass breakup and one blocked kick.

Ham, a first team All-League player who started all eleven games at free safety in 2016, was second on the team with 62 total tackles, 39 solo, including three for loss (six yards). He tied for the team lead with three interceptions, returning one 63 yards for a score against Yale, and he had six pass breakups. Ham, who ranked third in the Patriot League in interceptions, picked off two passes in the Georgetown game to earn Patriot League Player of the Week honors.

The Rams closed out the season with an 8-3 overall record, 5-1 in the Patriot League. It is Fordham's fourth straight winning season, the first time the Rams have posted four consecutive winning campaigns since 1976-1979.
