Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham men's and women's cross country squads closed out the 2016 season by competing at the ECAC/IC4A Championships today at Van Cortlandt Park where the men placed second of 19 teams and the women finished fourth of 18.

Northeastern won the men's IC4A University race with a team score of 67, followed by Fordham (89), Rutgers (91), Marist (112) and Siena (143) among the top five.

On the women's side Monmouth captured the ECAC University team title with a score of 108, followed by Marist (109), Northeastern (110), Fordham (125) and Manhattan (131).

Brian Cook and
Thomas Slattery paced the Fordham men, taking eighth and ninth overall, respectively, with Cook covering the 8K course in 26:07 and Slattery a second behind him.

Angelina Grebe
For the Fordham women
Angelina Grebe covered the 5K course in a time of 18:53, good for sixth overall.
