Newport News, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly men's soccer awards this afternoon with sophomore
Janos Loebe (Kierspe, Germany) being named Offensive Player of the Week. It is Loebe's second weekly award this season.
Loebe netted the game-winning goal on Saturday night with 58 seconds left in the second overtime period to give Fordham the 2-1 victory at Saint Louis. The loss was the first at home for Saint Louis in Atlantic 10 action, while the win clinched an Atlantic 10 Championship berth for the Rams. The goal was Loebe's team-leading sixth of the season.
Loebe and the rest of the Rams will wrap up the regular season with two games this week at home. Fordham meets Massachusetts on Wednesday, November 2
nd at 3:30 PM in a make-up game from October 9
th, while on Saturday, November 5
th, the Rams host St. Bonaventure at 7:00 PM for Senior Night.
