Caleb Ham was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week as well as College Sports Madness Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced today. It is the first weekly honor of 2016 for Ham and the fifth for the Rams.

In a 17-14 Patriot League win over Georgetown on Jack Coffey Field on Saturday, Ham intercepted two passes and had three solo tackles. His second interception set up what proved to be the game-winning field goal in the fourth quarter.

On the season Ham is second on the team with 39 total tackles, 24 solo, including 1.0 for loss. He leads the team and is tied for the Patriot League lead with three interceptions and also has three pass breakup.

The Rams (5-2, 2-0) return to action on Saturday, October 29, as they travel to Bethlehem, Pa., to face the Lehigh University Mountain Hawks in a Patriot League contest in Goodman Stadium at 12:30 p.m.
