Trim Wins Lehigh Invitational

Bethlehem, Pa. – The Fordham University golf team concluded their fall season with a 5^th place finish at the Lehigh Invitational held at Saucon Valley Country Club.
 
Fordham junior Joseph Trim won the individual title, firing an even par 72 to back up a 71 in round one for a two day total of 143, good for a two stroke victory. It is Trim's first career individual win.

 
Also competing for the Rams, Thomas Hayes shot 79 in round two to go with his 76 in round one for a two-day total of 155 and a tie for 20^th place. Oscar Cabanas shot 78-84 for a two-day total of 162, tying him for 54^th place. Josh Madarang finished one stroke behind Cabanas after rounds of 77-86 for a 163 total, finishing in a tie for 56^th place and James Mongey finished in 57^th place after rounds of 77-87 for a two day total of 164.
 
Bucknell defeated Lehigh in a playoff to capture the team total. Hofstra (611) finished 3^rd followed by St. John's (612), Fordham (614) Monmouth (616), Siena (616), St. Peter's (618), Lafayette (619), Iona (621), Rider (622), Manhattan (627).
