Golf Competes at Lehigh Invitational

Round 1 Results

Bethlehem, Pa. – The Fordham University golf team began it's final tournament of the fall season today with first round play at the Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Valley Country Club where the Rams are in 5^th place in the team stadnings.

Lehigh is in first place with a round one total of 297 followed by Bucknell (298), St. John's (298), Iona (299) and Fordham (302).
 
Individually, Joseph Trim is tied for 3^rd place after firing a one under par 71 in round one. The highlight of Trim's round came on the par 3 11th hole, which the junior aced for his second career hole in one.

Other Rams competing were Thomas Hayes who shot 76 and is currently tied for 20^th, Josh Madarang fired a 77 and is tied for 30^th, Oscar Cabanas shot 78, good for a tie for 39^th and James Mongey finished round one in 65^th place with an 87.

 
The tournament concludes on Saturday. Tee times begin at 8:30 a.m.
