Queens, N.Y. - The Fordham University cross country teams put forth an impressive effort at the Red Storm Invitational, hosted by St. John's, as the men finished first in the 5K and the women took 2
nd in the 4K at Cunningham Park in Queens, N.Y.
For the men, Fordham's
Thomas Slattery won the race with a time  of 15:30.20 followed by a pack of Rams including
Brian Cook who finished 2
nd with a time of 15:30.20,
Jake Duckworth 3
rd (15:31.40) and
Nik O'Brien 4
th (15:37.40). Also finishing in the top 20 for the Rams were

th at the Atlantic 10 Championships at Pole Green Park in Richmond, Va. Races begin at 10 a.m.
