Newport News, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly cross country award winners on Tuesday with a Fordham Ram being honored. Junior Brian Cook was named Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week. It is the 3rd weekly honor for Cook this season.

Cook won the men's individual title at the Metropolitan Championships at Van Cortlandt Park last week with a time of 26:12.8, helping the Rams to a 4th place finish in the event.

Cook and the Rams return to action on October 16 at the Red Storm Invitational at Cunningham Park in Queens, N.Y. Races begin at 10 am.
