As the calendar turns to 2016, two winter sports stars, basketball players

Samantha Clark distinguished themselves as the Zipcar Performers of the Month for the month of December.

Chartouny helped Fordham go 5-1 in the month of December. He averaged 9.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 2.8 steals over those six games, and was twice named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week. His highlight performances came in wins over LIU-Brooklyn and Maine. In an overtime win over the LIU-Brooklyn Blackbirds, Chartouny notched a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while adding six assists, while against Maine, he dropped 21 points, seven rebounds, seven steals, and three assists in a win. He also had five-assist games against St. John's, Central Connecticut State, and Boston College.
Clark was a dominant force for the women's basketball team in December, averaging 15.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.3 blocks over eight contests. She recorded three double-doubles in the month against Delaware, Temple, and Texas A&M Corpus Christi, while shooting 60% from the floor and 52.9% from three point range. Along the way, she also became the 18th Ram to reach 1,000 career points during the team's game at Princeton and was named to the Fordham Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team at the end of the month for her play against Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Vanderbilt.
