As the new Fordham students filed into Jack Coffey Field for their class photo, they were greeted by director of athletics Dave Roach and head men's basketball coach
Jeff Neubauer as the defending Patriot League champions practiced on the field in front of them.
Neubauer addressed the close to 2,000 students and encouraged them to come out and support the Rams this year. "Look to you left and look to your right," he said. "And bring those classmates with you to the nine home men's basketball games we have this semester."
Roach also urged the students to support the football team by traveling on the student buses to the Army game on Friday and to be in the Jack Coffey Field stands on Saturday, September 12, as the Rams open their home schedule by hosting Villanova at 6:00 PM. Fordham students can sign up for the student bus to Army by calling the Fordham Ticket Office at x4759.
