Breanna Jones was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday by the league.
An outside hitter, Jones recorded a double-double in her first career match as a Ram against Presbyterian. The Hazel Green, Ala., native paced the squad with a team-high 14 kills and 15 digs with an attack percentage of .343. She then tallied double-digit kills for the second straight match, registering a team-best 12 versus Florida Gulf Coast. Jones was just shy of another double-double against New Orleans, scoring nine kills and nine digs. She finished the weekend with 35 kills and 26 digs.
