Photo GalleryBronx, N.Y. - We continue our position-by-position breakdown of the 2015 Fordham University Football Rams with a look at the running backs.
The running back position has the most experience and depth of any group on the offensive side of the ball, led by 2014 Jerry Rice Award winner
Chase Edmonds, who set the school rushing record last year while also earning Patriot League Rookie of the Year honors. He ranked in the top ten nationally in rushing yards, rushing touchdowns and all-purpose yards.
He is joined in the backfield by junior
Kendall Pearcey, who had a solid season of his own in 2014, gaining almost 600 yards rushing and scoring six touchdowns.
Also back is sophomore
Jarred Brevard, who appeared in eight games as a freshman, and he is joined on the depth chart by freshman
Joe Lisowski, a two-time all-state selection at John Jay High School in Hopewell Junction, New York.
Camp NotesThe Rams had their second two-a-days of camp, practicing in uppers in the morning and then starting in spiders in the afternoon before donning their shoulder pads for the last half of the practice.
Both sessions ended with a winning edge drill. In the morning it was a two minute drill which was won by the defense when
David Barletta picked off a tipped pass. The defense also took the afternoon session, an overtime drill, keeping the offense out of the end zone.

Former Fordham assistant coach Tim Zetts was named offensive coordinator at John Carroll University today.
Coach Moorhead's quote of the day: "It's important that you don't come out and survive practice, to be a champion you have to dominate it."
