Photo GalleryBronx, N.Y. – The good news for the 2015 Fordham football Rams was that they practiced in spider pads today. The bad news was that they experienced their first double session of camp.
Here are some notes from camp today:
The afternoon practice ended with the offense attempting two-point conversion to win the game but the defense kept the offense out of the end zone
Linebacker
Stephen Hodge stayed around after the afternoon session to work on technique with defensive line coach
Jerrick Hall Michael Andrews, GSB '09, was at the afternoon practice and spoke to the freshmen about the Fordham Football Mentoring program
Roman Herman, who graduated last year, was also at the afternoon session
Head coach
Joe Moorhead drove home the idea of "purpose, passion and persistence" with the squad at both sessions
Coach Moorhead's quote of the day:
"There are two types of pain you will go through in life, the pain of discipline and the pain of regret. Discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tonnes."
