FCS ADA ReleaseBronx, N.Y. – The 2014 Fordham University football squad received a plethora of awards for its accomplishments on the field and today the Rams were honored for their work in the classroom as the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) named Fordham the Most Improved Patriot League school in regards to the Academic Progress Rate (APR).

Fordham's honor is part of the FCS ADA Academic Progress Rate (APR) Award, sponsored by Forward Progress. The APR Award recognizes one institution at each of the 13 FCS conferences that has the highest APR score. In addition, the Association also recognizes one institution from each conference that has improved the most from the previous year. In all, 27 awards will be given this year.
