Bronx, N.Y. – The preseason college football publications are out and two of them pick Fordham to repeat as Patriot League champions as the Rams were voted the preseason favorites by both the Sporting News and Lindy's.

The Rams will be defending their third Patriot League crown with a new cast of starters as Fordham graduated 15 of the 19 players who earned All-Patriot League honors last year, led by two-time league Offensive Player of the Year, quarterback
Mike Nebrich.

The Rams do return the 2014 Jerry Rice Award winner, running back
Chase Edmonds, who was also named the Patriot League Rookie of the Year after a record-setting freshman campaign.

Fordham also welcomes back 2014 preseason Defensive Player of the Year
Stephen Hodge, who missed all of last season with an injury. In his first year as a starter at linebacker in 2013, Hodge was named a Beyond Sports Network and College Sports Madness All-American and Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year.

The Rams open the 2015 season on Friday Night, September 4, as they travel up to West Point to face Army West Point at 7:00 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network.
