Bronx, N.Y. (June 2, 2015) – Josh Greer, former assistant strength and conditioning coach at Monmouth University, was named assistant strength and conditioning coach at Fordham University it was announced today by Fordham assistant athletic director for athletic performance
Tim Rehm.

Greer served as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Monmouth for the past two years where he designed and implemented strength, conditioning, flexibility, mobility, speed and agility programs for men's & women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, the sprinters and jumpers, and the freshman football program. He also assisted with the implementation of strength, conditioning, flexibility, mobility, speed, and agility sessions for football, baseball, softball, men's lacrosse, and men's basketball and with the application of Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and the programing of correctives for the football and women's basketball programs.

Prior to his stint at Monmouth, Greer was the strength and conditioning intern at the University of Delaware from January of 2012 until August of 2013. He assisted the strength and conditioning coaches in daily implementation of strength, conditioning, flexibility, mobility, speed, and agility sessions and worked directly with football, baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's swimming and diving, women's volleyball, men's and women's tennis, women's crew, women's track and field and cross country.

While at Delaware, Greer also served as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for club sports.

A 2005 graduate of the University of Delaware, Greer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise and Sports Studies and a minor in Strength and Conditioning. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.).
