Bronx, N.Y. (June 10, 2015) – Fordham University head football coach
Joe Moorhead announced today the addition of FIU transfer
Luke Medlock (Jacksonville, Fla. / Fletcher) to the 2015 roster.
Â
Medlock was a freshman at FIU last year but did not see any action. He is a graduate of
Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach, Florida, where he was a four-year letterman for head football coach Josh Corey. He registered 2,146 career-passing yards (No. 5 all-time at Fletcher) and threw for 1,845 yards during senior season (third-most in school history). Medlock accounted for five touchdowns in a win over Wolfson in November of his senior year, rushing for two scores and throwing three touchdown passes.
Â
A two-time all-district and All-Gateway Conference selection, Medlock earned Class 8A-7A Second-Team All-State honors as a punter in 2012. He also played basketball in high school.
