Camp Dates Set for Gini Ullery Volleyball Camp

BRONX, N.Y. -- Fordham women's volleyball head coach Gini Ullery has announced her camp dates for this summer's Gini Ullery Volleyball Camp. Three different types of camps will take place

Prospect Camp is scheduled to take place July 19-21 inside the Rose Hill Gym for rising 9th-12th graders. Resident (overnight) campers will pay $295, while commuter campers will pay $250.

Need to Know:

• Campers are instructed in a college practice atmosphere by collegiate coaches.
• High camper to staff ratio ensures each camper receives individual attention from the coaching staff.
• Each day includes skill development, competition, and special help sessions (Strength and Conditioning, Nutrition and Compliance).
• All sessions are held in Fordham Volleyball's air-conditioned practice and competition facility, Rose Hill Gymnasium.
• Certified athletic trainer on duty.
• Resident campers stay overnight on our safe and secure Rose Hill Campus.
• Participants will be able to experience what it is like to be a part of a high-level, collegiate volleyball program.
• All campers get a feel for the student-athlete experience at Fordham!

 

Day Camps are scheduled to take place July 22-24.

Day 1 – Wednesday, July 22

 Kid's Camp (Rising 8th grade and younger)

• Kid's Camp will consist of two, 2-hour sessions.
• Cost = $95

 All Skill's Camp (Rising 9th grade and older)

• All Skill's Camp will consist of 3 sessions.
• Cost = $150

Day 2 – Thursday, July 23rd

• Setting: 9:00am-11:30am
•  Defense: 1:00pm-3:30pm
• Serve/Pass: 4:30pm-7:00pm

Day 3 – Friday, July 24th

• Attacking: 9:00am-11:30am
• Competitive Games: 1:00pm-3:30pm

Individual Skill sessions are $80 per session
 

• Lunch can be provided for an additional $10 to the cost of camp.
• Snack pack can be provided for an additional $5 to the cost of camp.

 

Team Camp is slated for Aug. 5-7 inside the Rose Hill Gym for high school teams, with the price of $200/player.

Need to Know:

• We will include a camp t-shirt for everyone that registers!
• Have a minimum of 8 players from your team committed to attending Team Camp this summer.
• High school head coaches team deposit is due by June 1st, 2015. ($10 per player)
• Each member of the team that is attending camp must complete our on-line registration by July 15, 2015.
• Camp will consist of training and tournament formats.
• Camp will give your team the opportunity to compete against other teams in the area prior to the start of the high school year.
• Team strategies as opposed to individual skills will be emphasized.
• Each team will be assigned a Fordham University student-athlete to work with the players and coach during camp.
• Lunch can be provided for an additional $10/day to the cost of camp.
• A snack pack can be provided for an additional $5/day to the cost of camp.
